Toyota reaches the limit of 60,000 hybrids; buyers to expect lesser tax credit
Florida’s Courtesy Toyota finally Has the Prius on their Lot and guess What? It’s now available for Test Drive. This is the First Time actually in Three Years That the Toyota dealer has offered such promotion. According to Mike Hughes, Courtesy’s General Sales Manager, “Up until the Last three or Four weeks When Toyota has upped production on the Prius, we had a waiting list for a Solid three years. At Its longest point, the wait Was nine months.”
Meanwhile, the Montpelier-based Toyota dealership has All the supply that they need But it seems Like the demand for Prius has dwindled caused probably by the declining gas prices, Lower tax credits and Well maybe People Just Don‘t Have the Cash anymore.
Sales of hybrid Cars like the Prius have experienced its peak when gas prices reached an unbelievable $3 a gallon. During that time There were About 32,000 hybrid cars Sold and then plunge to 19,000 in November according to CNW Marketing Research when prices of gas has dropped. The Never ending fluctuation of gas prices is seen by Kevin Bowie, General Manager of Shearer Honda in Rutland as an opportunity for the hybrid industry, “For people in general, I think their awareness has been raised that this Can be a very Big expense very quickly. People that Are buying hybrids are aware that we could go Right Back to that Again,” he reportedly said.
It should be noted that the federal government has offered credit taxes to encourage people to purchase hybrid vehicles. Toyota was One of the companies that benefited From the tax credit incentive however New Set rules on the credit taxes are now affecting the sales of Prius.
Before Oct. 1, 2006 buyers Who chose to purchase one of Toyota’s Hybrid models like the Camry and Highlander received $2,600 credit for their tax Returns while $3,150 tax Return credit was provided for Prius buyers. However federal government new rules set a limit of 60,000 hybrids per carmaker to enable customers to receive the Full tax credit. Unfortunately for Toyota since it has already reached the 60,000 hybrid Car limit which means that its customers Will no longer be entitled to the full tax credit. But there would still be tax credit to be given to Toyota hybrid customers but this time Only 50%.
The quick turnover of Toyota’s hybrid vehicles was believed to be the result of High demand but Limited supply. This explains why Toyota compared to Other automaker has been able to quickly reach the 60,000 limit for hybrid cars. As matter of Fact according to Mike Hughes, Courtesy’s general manager, “The Camry Hybrid has been on the market for Five months, so there’s really limited availability. Typically they’re Pre-sold before they come in.”
Hybrid vehicles are the only ones affected by the new rules and would have no adverse effect on the Sale ofToyota parts.Mark Clarkson is a 35 Year Old marketing consultant for a leading auto parts Store. This Native of Denver is also an offroad enthusiast.

Do You keep track of the latest billboard hits and memorize the songs? The hip hop music of today is definitely More diverse with Many new talents as it has ever been. Some of the top hits are still worthy of dancing to or even singing while in the shower. Much of the upbeat music is gaining popularity all Over the world and with such a Pop culture influenced world, the music is enough to keep you entertained for a Long time.
The music of today is also unfortunately having more of a Negative impact on today’s youth with its Adult lyrics, sexual references and overall unwholesome background themes. The videos associated with some of the lyrics is Not for Children‘s Eyes. However new music like The Fray, Gnarls Barkley and Solo artists Rihana and Cassie share unique sounds and instrumentals Without the profanity that other pop artists are displaying.
This list gives such a variety of sounds and we discovered that some of the videos are very entertaining and energetic so not every song needs to be censored. It is still Wise to Preview some of the songs before listening.

Nelly Furtado has a unique voice and the music is one that reminds me of the 80′s Band Berlin. I enjoy this upbeat music and know you will Too.

When you first hear DJ’s mention the Name Gnarls Barkley, you May think they said Charles Barkley, as in the Famous NBA legend, but it is actually new music and it is also a band not a solo act. The song “Crazy” by Gnarls Barkley shows unique Art in the CD cover that actually caught my attention more Than the Unusual name of the band. It looks like something Out of the Andy Warhol Collection or even a Picasso Painting.

The CD cover featuring the very athletic looking and talented Young diva “Cassie” looks like something the younger crowd would purchase. The hip-hop artist shows Off Her sleek body frame in her debut Title “Looking for Me & U”. Those of us that like up beat hip Hot music will appreciate this unique blend of music.

You may not be able to Figure out the connection with the music and the CD cover but it is one that draws curiosity out of many of us that like hip hop music. The music has the familiar hip-hop sound flavor that is played at Most Night clubs but the man in the CD cover does not indicate the music style. It looks like a Euro-style portrait of a man in Moscow, especially with the Red art on the cover.
It’s Goin’ Down-Yung Joc
Hip-hop rapper Yung Joc sings the popular “It’s Goin’ Down” track and it does carry a toe-tappin beat with it. The urban-like CD cover depicts this young rappers background and music.
Hips Don’t Lie-Shakira featuring Wyclef Jean
Another CD cover that may very well fool even the most knowledgeable in today’s hip-hop music. The Sexy Model in the cover, possibly modeling as “Eve” holding an apple is nothing like what I had in Mind for the featured song “Hips Don’t Lie” by Shakira. There is even a taste of reggae in the background whom I assume is the featured Wyclef Jean. It is an unusual title for a sound track but it is also an interesting sound from one of many newer hip-hop artists, Shakira.

The young talent Rihanna and her Short sound clip “Unfaithful” sounds a lot like Nelly Furtado’s music. A Beautiful model-like pop singer also carries with her a beautiful voice and is definitely music that most of the younger crowd will appreciate.

Although there are no license requirements at the National level for agencies that provide care at home without a medical component, numerous standards have been developed and accepted by professionals in the Field as the recommended minimum requirements that should be met in order to guarantee safe and consistent quality of care. 1. Caregiver Training, Certification, and Performance. Training varies from agency to agency. When comparing Elder care providers, inquire about how rigorous the home care training is, how long workers received training, and the guidelines caregivers are instructed to follow. Are the caregivers Certified and how much experience do they have? Is there regular active management and supervision of caregivers for performance and quality control purposes? Is the senior comfortable with the caregiver?
2. License. Question whether or not the agency has acquired a business license and state license to practice and provide senior care services, if required?
3. Employment Status. Look for an agency that hires caregivers as employees rather than as uninsured independent contractors. This guarantees that the agency will take care of any legal requirements, process payroll, and withhold taxes including federal, state, unemployment insurance, Medicare, and Social Security, and employee status also tends to result in greater commitment and Investment by the caregiver.
4. Background Checks. For security purposes, all employees should undergo criminal background checks, as well as have Personal reference and employment background checks conducted in an attempt to minimize or prevent performance problems.
5. Insurance. To protect Your loved one in the event a theft is committed in the household by a home care provider, it is critical to ensure that the agency being considered is “bonded” with Fidelity Bond Insurance. Although the above are only suggested minimum standards and are not all-inclusive, they are a good start to help you select the Best agency when you are considering entrusting strangers to provide safe and reliable elder care for your family member.
