Last week, Days of Our Lives ended with EJ, played by James Scott, attempting to Tell the police that Lucas, portrayed by Bryan Dattilo, was in Danger inside his Prison cell. When the police Failed to respond in apt Fashion, EJ punched an officer and got himself taken into custody. He was then locked up with Lucas, where he went on to Face Stefano DiMera’s (Joseph Mascolo) bodyguard, Carmine.

Elsewhere in Salem , Philip, played by Jay Kenneth Johnson, urged Alison Sweeney’s Sami to visit Lucas and encourage Him to Fight for himself. Meanwhile, Crystal (Ashlee Holland) assured Marlena (Deidre Hall) that it was Never Her intention to scare Belle (Martha Madison). Marlena agreed to a meeting with Crystal despite Belle’s skeptical protests.

This week, EJ saves Lucas from being strangled by Carmine. Then he breaks into the DiMera Mansion, where he gets into a verbal joust with Stefano after he is caught. EJ earns Sami’s Approval when he gives her an account of his encounter with the DiMera patriarch, whom he suspects of plotting to take Johnny away. Sami promises to Help EJ Stand up against Salem ’s resident Villain. Meanwhile, Sami is disappointed when Lucas reluctantly agrees to plead guilty by reason of temporary insanity. In contrast to her reaction to EJ, Sami refuses to help Lucas.

In still more spoilers, Hope (Kristian Alfonso) confronts Crystal, who subsequently reveals that Marlena is in danger. For her Part, Marlena secures the help of Bo (Peter Reckell), Abe (James Reynolds) and Roman in an effort to Combat Stefano. Marlena eventually wields a gun on him, leaving Stefano shocked and stunned.

Elsewhere, Philip asks Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) to get Close to Shawn (Brandon Beemer). Belle tells Philip that She doesn’t trust him, accusing him of playing games with her. Chloe starts to Bond with Shawn and Claire, much to Belle’s distaste. Finally, Stephanie (Shelley Hennig) confesses to Max (Darin Brooks) that Ford (Matthew Florida) assaulted her. Max persuades her to go See a therapist.
