I’m So Hurt! Why Should I Forgive?

Lives Are shattered in an instant. Your loved One May be killed or maimed for Life and the perpetrator is unrepentant. Yet, You are Called to forgive! The First thoughts That may come to Mind are: ‘why should I forgive This person for such a horrible, willful act of violence!’

Have you Ever hurt someone, even unwittingly, by words spoken in haste? Those words may have been perceived as hurtful because they triggered some deeply buried pain From the past that you were Not aware of. Weeks later you realize that every Time you Meet this Friend, There is a Cold gulf between you until eventually All communication stops … unless one of you opens up and gets down to the source. You’re the perpetrator; your friend Has chosen to harbor unforgiveness. You feel the alienation; the Other hurt, compounded by recurring thoughts of ‘How could a friend do this to me?’

The More thoughts of ‘Poor me’ are entertained, the greater the hurt is magnified, and the more the seed of unforgiveness gets rooted. Now, let’s Get a glimpse of how God views unforgiveness. To Him it is a sin, and all sin is in essence a rebellion Against God! As a Christian, you are Free from the Bondage of sin. You Only need to come to Him with a contrite Heart, and all transgressions you have committed Will be forgiven.

There are two spiritual laws at Work: the Law of the Holy Spirit and the law of sin and Death, namely Satan. Paul had a Hard time with it as Well, recognizing that the more he Wanted to obey God in all things, the more he would Find himself doing What Was Evil! He discovered that the carnal mind is constantly in rebellion with God. (Rom. 7: 14-25) In other words, When your thoughts are more occupied with your physical and emotional needs Than on God’s plan for your life, then you will feel the resulting tension.

When you think of sin, any act that grieves God, you think of what you have done to someone, something, or even your Own body. Sin tends to come from a hurtful, bitter or selfish heart and manifests outward. Unforgiveness, on the other Hand, is a conscious reaction to someone else’s sin. Your thoughts are in effect telling you that because of your suffering you have the Right and Power to curse the perpetrator. However, be aware that those are not God’s thoughts!

God’s Word says: “Bless them that persecute you: bless, and curse not.” It’s His job to do the punishing: “Vengeance is Mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. Therefore if thine Enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, Give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of Fire on his Head. Be not overcome with evil, But overcome evil with good.” (Rom. 12: 14-21)

God loves all mankind; even the Worst sinner, and it is His Love that draws the sinner to repentance. There are consequences to every sin. By forgiving evildoers, you are not acknowledging that they should not be punished. You are merely acknowledging that this Power belongs to God! Unforgiveness leads to bitterness, hatred, and eventually physical and emotional illnesses, Like depression. Does that sound like a curse you would put on yourself?

The mob cursed Jesus at his trial, yelling at Pontius Pilate to crucify Him. Jesus forgave them from the Cross! (Luke 23: 21; 34)
After the power of the Holy Spirit came on the disciples and Peter addressed the crowd and accused them of having denied Jesus and sent Him to the cross, he also acknowledged that they had done it in ignorance! (Acts. 3: 13-17) Did ignorance mean innocence, because they did not realize what they had done?

Ignorance of God’s Word leads to acting on the thoughts planted by the evil one. Just as Peter Told the crowd, there is a Way Out of even the worst sin. “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out when the times of refreshing Shall come from the presence of the Lord.” Peter acknowledged God’s Love and Forgiveness to those Who had cursed Jesus, telling them: “Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.” (Acts 3: 19; 26)

Thus, walk in Freedom and receive of all the blessings God has for you!. “Therefore the redeemed of the Lord shall Return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head; they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away. How To Avoid Burning Money On Advertising

Advertising. Curse? Money hole? Or powerful venue?

It seems so obvious: where else, for a few hundred Dollars, could you get in Front of thousands of people? And it’s TRUE that Many of them are really wanting what you’re offering.

Unfortunately, the vast majority of advertising ends up being good to wrap Fish in, and not much else. People cry up “But it’s getting me exposure,” and that’s true, to a point. However, is it really increasing sales? Is it really getting people the help they need?

Every time I look through a newspaper, especially the alternative papers, I See so many ads, and my heart feels a Little Sad. Because I know behind Most of those ads there is a jewel of a Human being, really wanting to help. But the ad isn’t making the connection at all.

Let’s think about it for a minute before you rush to get your hard-earned money in before the Publication deadline. What’s going on for the person reading the newspaper?

First: they’ve seen it all before. Second: your Offer is probably between the 100th and 1000th (literally) that they’ve seen today. Third: even if they are an Ideal prospect for you, they are probably thinking about something other than your business.

Because of this overwhelm, most advertisers try to keep turning the Volume up Higher and higher. I just opened up an alternative Magazine randomly to a two Page spread of ads. Out of 16 ads, 12 of them have some “Special offer” of one sort or Another. And 14 of them are making a direct pitch to have you “schedule an appointment” or otherwise buy something now. Of the other two, one is a restaurant, and the other doesn’t make any kind of offer at all.

Does it work? No, it doesn’t work. I’ve called people to find out how their ads were working for them, and they told me: “I get a couple of calls from it, maybe.”

Remember that people only buy when they feel safe enough- when the relationship has built to the point where they can trust their initial attraction.

Here’s the foundation you need to make your ad effective:

Know the Three Journeys.

The First Journey is when a Stranger Becomes interested in your business, and chooses to become a prospect. A prospect who is looking for Gold in your business.

The Second Journey is when that prospect spends time in direct relationship with your business, and when they see enough gold, they become a customer.

The Third Journey is when they’ve had an ecstatic experience as a customer, and want to help other people find the gold, so they become a raving Fan.

Advertising is First Journey marketing. Your only goal in advertising should be to Show enough gold to get them to want to be a prospect. Forget about selling them anything.

How do you show them the gold? 

Keys to Effective Advertising

Talk to one person, and Call their Name.

On a crowded Manhattan Street, elbow-to-elbow with a Sea of people, I still heard someone speak in a conversational voice- “Mark.” I turned my head Around. Of course they were Talking to someone else, but it still caught my attention.

Your ad needs to speak to one person, and call their name. In marketing, the next Best Thing to a Personal name is your Who and What. “Golfers”=who “is knee pain affecting your swing?”= what.

Educate them in a helpful way.

If you have Room, take the time to maybe explain one point that will be helpful for them in the problem they are facing. For smaller ads you can just point them towards a Web page where you want to educate them about something helpful.

For instance: “Most pain is actually caused by stress. Stopping the stress means decreasing or stopping the pain. Right now, just notice your knee pain. See if you can notice where your legs and hips feel tense, and breathe into the tension. As it relaxes, see how the pain feels.” If you have more Space, you can go into more detail.

Offer a trade: their contact information for something valuable.

Finally, Don‘t ignore design.

Keep it simple. In a loud, overcrowded World, simplicity and straightforwardness have the best chance of being noticed. Use plenty of White space. Easy-to-Read fonts, avoid cursive or fancy fonts, and avoid complicated patterns.

* What is considered a neglect or Maintenance problem is not covered in the insurance as this is considered due to your own negligence. One example is water seepage.

If you have damages caused by water, it is important that you file your claim right away. Contact your insurance Company and inform them of the damages you are going to claim. The insurance representative will Tell you what to do to claim your water damage insurance policy. You have to take note of all the exchange in communication between you and your insurance company, and it is also important that you keep your insurance company contact details and information easily accessible to you.

Next, assess and Record the extent of the damage caused by water to your property. Take a Photo or video of the damage. Fix anything you think you can fix. Damage due to neglect and lack of maintenance is not covered in the insurance so you Must do what you can so the insurance company will not reject your claim for those reasons. Keep all the receipts for the repair of the damages for reimbursement. Make a list of Missing or damaged items for replacement.

When you have done all these, you may now wait for your claim. You may get in Touch with your insurance company so you can be updated with the developments on your claim. Should you have any objection, you may complain to the state insurance commissioner.
