Any one Serious About DSLRs Should Consider To Buy Canon 60d.

You must buy Canon 60d when you are interested in an Awesome DSLR Camera. How come? This camera is so cool.

You can adjust audio levels manually, which is a big bonus when producing Professional recordings.

You should buy Canon 60d because of the Image Quality. In my opinion the 60d is the best choice of a DSLR. It is inexpensive, cheaper than the 7d or 5d, but more robust than the t2i, and it has the image quality of the 7d.

Compared to most cameras the sensor size is gigantic equals the size of regular 35 mm Film. You get the same 35mm look of shallow depth of field which only a Large sensor can give you, meaning it is not so easy to focus. Before this, such a cinematic look could only be achieved with adaptors.

I honestly can say the 60d looks better than cameras that cost Ten times the price.

The other great thing is the flip out LCD monitor, which is the only DSLR that can be used on a Steadicam Without investing a ton of money.

Just flip out the screen and let it Fly. It works great on even the Nano Flycam, just make sure the LCD monitor is flipped out before you balance it. If you don’t, the Flycam will not balance properly.

It really is possible to Shot a Feature length film on the 60d. It has never been easier to shot one, and I am shooting one right now. All of my set Ups are quick and easy.

Example: I get a wide shot. Pick up the Light camera on the light sticks, get the medium shot, the two shot, pick it up again, and get the close up, naturally with slight light adjustments, but the point is I can do it all alone if I have to.

You will need a crew to do this with 35mm film. Shooting on the 60d can be fast and spontaneous, and flexible.

The weight is Perfect. Both the 7d and 5d are heavier, which could put you at a disadvantage. I can take the 60d anywhere, and shot cinema quality images, in public places without drawing a Lot of attention to myself, because I look like a tourist. This is a very practical camera, and its size is perhaps its Greatest assets.

The controls are easier to use than the t2i. Going Through menus, or changing the White-balance on the fly is fast.
