Strategies And Tactics To Help You Reach Your Goals

Strategies Are nothing More Than Long-term Action plans created to help you achieve a particular goal. It is a meeting with you to toss ideas in the Air, organize them, develop them, put them in writing, and then decide How to execute them. This is essentially What Big companies’ CEO’s do When they Meet in their suits and fancy conference rooms to “strategize”.

Create an action plan Like CEO’s and big corporations do to Make money and succeed. Ask yourself questions like, “What do I want to achieve?” List the Many ways in which you Can grow. Be very specific and detailed, and write as much as you can to include All the things That Ever crossed your Mind. Once you Have done that, organize them in categories to make them Easy to follow and Read.

You Must know what you want to do, what you need to do, when you want to do it, and why. Writing it down Will keep you aware of your Ultimate goals. It is also important that you determine what resources are needed (money, Special equipment, etc.) to achieve your goals. Your strategy needs to come From your reality But pointed towards your future successful reality.

Also, plan ahead for potential setbacks. We all have them, especially when we First start to change habits to make a significant difference. Nobody said that it would be easy. That is why planning ahead and expecting roadblocks is Essential. Setbacks May even be necessary as they remind you that you are a Human having human experiences. Remember, those experiences will teach you more than any book or teacher may ever be able to.

Once you have an action plan ready, you need to know how you are going to execute. This is Where tactics come in handy. Tactics are how strategies are achieved. They often vary depending on the detail of every person’s action plan but generally, some rules apply:

1. Tactics must be assigned a timeline. Decide what the deadline for each point is in your action plan. This will Give you a sense of urgency needed to fuel your discipline and, more importantly, to avoid procrastination.

2. Tactics also involve money. Whether it is money for an education, to start your Own business, or to simply live while you Chase your Dream of becoming the next Picasso, chances are you will need money to execute your strategies. Start researching ways to make or Get that money at the least cost to you as Soon as you know what your action plan is.

3. Avoid anything that takes you away from your strategic goal. Don‘t Play Hero. This is Not About being a ham or showing Off. You have Better things to do in Life than trying to keep up appearances. Focus on how to get things done, not on how others perceive you.

4. Break the strategies up Into small daily or Weekly activities. If your goal is to get a job at a prestigious advertising agency in order to gain enough experience to become a successful ad executive One Day, it would be Wise to break up that strategy into manageable goals. For instance, you may want to start by sending resumes and setting up appointments (remember to write thank you notes). Once you get a job, you can move on to Other tactics to help you move up, gain experience, and take advantage of opportunities that will come your Way.

5. Revise your strategic goals often to See where you are making progress and what needs to be moved up or down on the priority list. As you accomplish things from your action plan, priorities change and things may need to be added or perhaps deleted. Revising the list will also remind you of your long term goals and of anything that may have slipped Through the cracks.

6. If you reached a milestone, celebrate it. You have worked Hard to get to this point. Why not acknowledge it? You deserve it.Jovanka Ciares is a life coach, motivational speaker and author Who teaches women the attitudes, behaviors and skills that they need in order to reach their fullest potential by using the Unlimited Power that lies Within each of them. Advantages and disadventages of Motorola Milestone XT720

Motorola had a bit of a low period for a while, following up the massive Success of the iconic RAZR with a period of absence punctuated by the occasional odd concept phone like the Aura. But since the release of the Dext Last Year the manufacturer Appears to be on the up and up. The Milestone XT720, the Second phone in the Milestone Range, is powered by Android 2.1 and Looks to be Another success.

Style and handling on the Motorola Milestone XT720

The Motorola Milestone XT720 is a chunky, heavy handset that weighs a hefty 160 grams. The 3.7-inch Screen is Great but Set in a wide border; we can’t help thinking that either the screen could have been bigger or the phone smaller. Like many Touch-screens it’s a fingerprint magnet, but it does seem worse than usual. Below the screen sit Four touch keys for menu, Home, Back and quick search.

The back of the phone is Navy Blue, which sounds odd but actually looks great Against the metallic Front. This is where you’ll Find the XT720′s Killer App: Its eight-megapixel Camera with Xenon Flash. More on the camera later, but the flash and (unprotected) lens are on a slight ridge that makes the phone even fatter. It needs the bulk to accommodate that flash, of course, but some users may be put off by it.

Touch-screen on the Motorola Milestone XT720

The Motorola Milestone XT720 is a capacitive screen, which is better than the resistive kind, although in this Case the screen is Almost Too responsive. We kept accidently hitting an icon twice, or brushing past one and launching up an app we hadn’t Wanted to.

Whereas the Original Milestone had a slide-Out QWERTY keyboard, the XT720 relies on an on-screen virtual one, with a haptic response so you know your Key Press Has been recognised. It works in Both portrait and landscape view – the latter is larger, obviously – although the accelerometer takes a few moments to register when you change from one to the other.

A New Feature Google is introducing is a Voice Input key, located on the keyboard next to the Space bar. This enables you to dictate your messages instead of typing them and it works Well, except for Unusual names. And dictating email addresses takes far longer than simply typing them into the address bar.

Shortcuts and widgets on the Motorola Milestone XT720

The Milestone XT720 has Five home screens, all of which are customisable. The main screen can be reached from anywhere simply by pressing the home key below the screen.

No social networking apps have been preloaded, which seems odd, so you have the option to go via the browser or download the apps from Android Market. It’s free to download both Twitter and Facebook and a far easier option than using the browser.

YouTube is preloaded on the phone, though, and if you Drag it to a home screen it will update regularly with recommended videos. Playback Quality is variable: clips take a few seconds to load and if you don’t play them in High quality are grainy and small. But select the HQ Button and everything changes: the videos are larger and the quality very good indeed.

We’re always pleased to see a 3.5mm audio port for plugging in your headphones, and the speaker is also pretty good, and loud enough to bother fellow passengers on public transport.

Internet on the Motorola Milestone XT720

Internet is a Speedy business on the XT720. If your network is up to it, you will get HSDPA data speeds of up to 1.2Mbps, and There‘s also Wi-Fi.

Thanks to the Android 2.1 OS you also have Multi-touch, the pinch-and-pull method of zooming pioneered by Apple. Having experienced this on other Android phones such as the Samsung Galaxy S, where it Was slick and intuitive, we expected great things from it Here. Unfortunately this wasn’t the case, as text and Pictures take a couple of seconds to change Size.

Milestone – i care ’bout you (1997)

Motorola Milestone Review by M.Bailey

The Milestone has finally been released in the UK, previously titled the Droid; one of the Most popular phones in the World and possibly the flagship product of the whole Android operating system.

The Milestone has washed up on UK shores courtesy of sole sales provider, eXpansys who reported that the phone Sold out of all units available in the Country within Only 3 hours of going on Sale. That’s great news for Motorola of course, but how does the Milestone handset compare to it’s peers and is it a worthy phone in it’s own Right or Just the Droid with a new marketing tactic?

The main style of the handset certainly hasn’t changed from the Droid, despite the Fact all the other branding has been removed. It’s a Stark contrast to the curvy design of most Modern phones and is very square and angular in it’s overall design and build. It’s also Quite hefty; not heavy or overly Large at all, but it feels weighty and well built and overall easy to fit into any pocket.

It’s available in Black and Brown Sugar †otherwise known as Gold †though the gold is Limited to a few small elements on the main design. Overall, it’s a design that isn’t going to amaze or excite, but it’s elegant, durable and nice to look at; just don’t expect to be completely blown way at first glance.

Under the Hood there’s quite a bit going on. It’s 3.7 inch screen hides a slide out qwerty keyboard and powering everything is a 550MHz processor. There’s 16GB of memory Pre installed via a microSD Card and the phone can connect through all the usual outlets including GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Quad-Band. Right now, the phone is completely GSM able and can be Run on any network in the UK.

As for Features, the Motorola milestone Sports a 5-megapixel camera which can capture Dvd quality video at up to 24 fps . There’s a 4x digital zoom and a dual flash with automatic focus. Camera software allows for Various Different modes include scene mode, Store location, focus mode, flash mode and White balance options. Portrait and Night Scenes are set up by Standard, but there’s no macro for taking Close Ups. Although it can’t compete with a proper compact camera, it’s quick and quality enough to be listed as one of the better smartphone cameras on the market.

The screen is as Bright and viewable any other Smart phone though it doesn’t use the newer †and much more expensive †OLED technology. Android 2.0 works as advertised on the phone and the processor is quick enough to keep things moving at a snappy pace. The system has a Fair amount of new features from 1.6 which is currently being used in other handsets although nothing totally groundbreaking. Plus, having the latest version means a larger choice of applications from the store.

Browsing on the phone is a joy thanks to the Milestone’s Full support for multitouch, something which the Droid didn’t have. However, multi-touch is currently only limited to certain applications; it unfortunately Won’t Work for other built-in apps such as the Image gallery.

Overall, the Milestone is one of the most impressive Android phones available right now, and certainly a Strong Rival to the HTC Hero. Not being locked to a single network will appeal to many People and while the Google Maps software which Made the Droid so Famous is Missing here as it’s US only, the Motonav replacement is nearly as good and certainly a functional GPS.

Mobile Choices provide the opportunity to easily compare mobile handsets in one place. The website contains helpful information that is relevant and important for everyone considering purchasing a new mobile with or Without a contract. Quite often choosing a handset is extremely confusing and can be made easier with informative and concise handset reviews. Whether it be a Motorola Milestone review, Sony Ericsson Elm review or Sony Ericsson Satio review that you need you wil find theses on their site. Always research the Best deals available before signing any contract, it will pay off in th
