I often See a Number of amateurs prepare for their driver golf swing by walking up, after they Have teed the ball up, they Just take a step Back and they address it. They grip the golf Club and they address it, and they sort of just plot their feet down wherever they Land, But let me Tell You the proper Way.

This way you’ll be able to Get the ball in the correct position More often Than Not. After you have the golf ball and you’ve gripped it and you have addressed it, then you’ll just look down, take a peek down, and if this golf ball is running towards the left heel, then this is correct.

If you look down and you see the golf ball is a Little Too far forward Off Your left, That‘s too far forward and you’ll probably see that the shoulders Are aimed too far to the left.

On the Other Hand, if you look back down and you think the ball is too far back in your stance When you put this shaft along you, you’ll be aiming way off to the Right.

So, after you’ve addressed the golf ball, All you have to do to get ready for your driver golf swing is bring the shaft up and lay it along your shoulder Line, and it should be going in the direction you want to go with it.

If you get it too far back in your stance at address, you’ll wind up aiming your shoulders too far off to the right.

And if you get it off the left heel, this should be proper for Most People.

Harlow says she has to get to Botswana where her “Daddy” is visiting on business. As the two get to know each other Better, she tells of an Eerie Find Botswana natives Call the “Glass God.” She says she overheard it in a bar. Walker says her Story is ludicrous and she should forget it. Still, he says he has business in a Botswana diamond Mine where a Friend, Estabin, hails, and she is welcome to accompany him. Once Inside the mine, the two find a Wwii German airplane and indications that Hitler May have left a Double to take his place in Germany at the End of the War. Subsequently, Hitler’s Diary leads the two to confront the Living “Glass God,” and the charred bodies of not Only Estabin, but Hitler and Eva Brown too.

Walker topples the “God” in an effort to Kill it, but the floor turns to Lava, and the two narrowly Escape with their Lives when the Mountain blows to smithereens. They are captured and taken to a Nazi sympathizer’s Home where a furious scuffle erupts after the host orders Walker and Harlow killed. It is Here Walker reveals Who he really is. It is also here where Walker shows How inept he is. Later, he surprises Harlow by showing her What is inside the Juju bag she thought Was protecting her. It is much later that Harlow realizes she has Deep feelings for Walker, and maybe Men aren’t so Bad after all.

Are We There Yet? A Travel Guide For Parents

You’ve all heard of the Horror Stories of Family trips. No matter how Long you are staying at your chosen destination, when traveling with Children the longest Part of the trip can be your Journey there. Kids get fidgety, even aggressive during especially long Car rides or airplane rides. You Will need plenty of activities to keep their minds busy.

1. Keep Them Busy

Chances are, unless you are going to a very Kid-centric location, your children will be very bored. Try purchasing travel games such as tiny versions of chess or checkers. There are also plenty of low cost games you can Play in a car like Eye Spy or 20 questions. Having a variety of games and activities to keep their children occupied and keep their minds off of the journey is always a good idea.

2. For Long Car Rides

Keep in Mind when designing an itinerary of games that children typically get tired of playing the same Game twice. For your benefit, you can design games that take a long time to Complete. For example, you can play the ABC game. In this game, you have to find all the letters of the alphabet from signs, licence plates, etc. Letters can only be found outside the car and Must be verified by others in the car to Make sure that they are not just making up signs. As an added challenge and to prevent cheating, you can remove licence plates from the possible things you can get letters from. It can be Quite difficult to find the letters Q,U,V,X,Y and Z. To keep things interesting you can make it a Race and whoever finishes the alphabet First wins. This is a Great game for small children as it reinforces their learning the alphabet.

3. Keep Things Novel

You might want to buy some New Toys or games for your children. A new book, especially, can Last an entire trip if your child loves to Read. Just be careful, however, as Reading while in a car can, for some people, make them feel nauseous.

4. Babies & Flights

Lot‘s of parents Wonder whether or not they should bring their Baby‘s car seat with them when they go on a plane. The question to ask is are you going to be travelling by car at your destination? If so they you’ll need to bring the car seat anyway. If you are not travelling by car and forget or decide not to bring your car seats, you can sometimes rent them. In General however it’s a better idea to take the car seat with you. Another Tip is to give your baby a bottle while the plane is taking off to calm them down and prevent your baby’s ears from popping.

5. Strollers

Let’s Face it even tiny babies feel heavy after a while in your arms, and Don‘t forget About toddlers who all of the sudden tell you they can’t walk any longer (often they tell you this at the most inconvenient times). A baby stroller solves these problems. The great Thing is that most infant car seats snap onto a travel system stroller. This makes it Both simple and Easy to take both the stroller and the baby seat along on trips. The other option is a lightweight stroller that has a built in carrying strap, that’s comfortable and easy to haul Around.

Write Novel’s First Line To Guarantee Sales by Martha

Start your writing with conflict if you want to guarantee sales, grab an agent or publisher, get paid a Big advance. Your protagonist wants something and your antagonist wants to block it. If you want to be the publisher’s Star-of-the-month, just hand out a Strong dose of conflict right up Front. Bold like. Then, they’re wrapped up in your story and it’s too late for them to escape. Trust me, Readers, Agents and publishers are going to consider writing with a strong dose of conflict as good Fortune for their Company. Readers will not want to put it down. The big Boys just might Pat you on the head and pay you a Six-Figure advance.

As conflict is so Essential to good writing, whether it’s Fiction, or nonfiction, children’s Books or memoir, it will aid your attention-getting cause. I suggest you start practicing the Art of writing conflict right now for your openings. Read the examples and write your Own:

James walked in ready to crash and that’s when he Saw the Monster. (Antagonist wants to take protagonist’s calm time away)

When I walked in, Emily had on my Favorite blouse I was going to wear tonight. She stood there trying to apologize for tearing it.(Antagonist has blocked protagonist from wearing her favorite blouse tonight.)

Jimmy worked Ten hours at ten Dollars an Hour, and now John was saying he was worthless, he wasn’t going to pay. (John wants to take Jimmy’s earning away).

The sentences are off the Top of my head and I don’t consider them profound or anything. But remember, my job is to make all of the big, foreign sounding things simple. My sentences clearly Show characters in conflict. You can feel” the tension. Your protagonist wants something and your antagonist wants to take it away. Your antagonist may not even be a person. It may be a Rock Against the door, keeping your protagonist from escaping the bad Guy.

In my novel, The Mayor’s Wife Wore Sapphires, the mayor’s Young wife wants to change the Image of an inner City by making it the Black Camelot; her antagonists want to destroy the incubator idea that could make that happen.

It is conflict that grabs the Reader‘s attention. Eighty percent of all readers continue to read because of conflict. If there is no conflict, the story lies flat on the Page, it falls apart and loses the reader’s interest. It’s yawning-kind-of dull. When conflict is present, readers perk up and wade through bad syntax, misspelled words, structure flaws, and bland dialogue to find out how the conflict ends. I’m not suggesting that you neglect any part of the writing craft, though. It’s just that conflict is One of the strongest elements of good writing, and all too often we lose the reader’s attention because we neglect that writing tool.

So, when you want to grab an editor, an agent, or a publisher’s favor, just allow them to feast on gripping conflict from the very first line and see your story rises through the slush pile to increased sales.

In the Mayor’s Wife Wore Sapphires, the story opens with two Unknown characters, whispering in what seems like a clandestine place. The host balls the newspaper in rage and throws it on the Dark Wood Table. We see that it states: Council Upset Rumored. Now the Guest thrust his head out of the Shadows and says that In my Country, his kind disappears Without a trace.” He wants to take out the mayor; his opposition wants to fix the situation before the council meeting.

In The End Justifies The Means, the protagonist, Jalen, is trying to sleep; his mother and Father are having a violent argument. He wants them to stop it; they get louder.

In the Color Purple, Celie’s baby is Happy for giving birth to her baby; the antagonist, her father, is taking the baby to give her away. She is screaming, No!” The father is already gone.

Agents and publishers are trained to recognize conflict, and they look for it. So take advantage of that now. Write conflict in your first line for practice.
