Pitch Shot
Let’s talk about the backswing when You‘re pitching. This could be one of the Most misunderstood parts of the weekend golfer’s Short Game or pitching problems.
I Own Three pitching wedges. I own three wedges. I own a pitching wedge, a sand wedge and one That‘s sort of in the middle. They go three very Different distances.
But let me explain something to you about the backswing that Will Help you a lot. Most amateurs that miss/hit their pitch shots make a big windup every Time, and then they slow down to match up How far they want it to go.
So, if they have a pitch shot, they wind it up and slow down and Hope they match up how far they needed to go. Two holes later, if they have to pitch it a little bit further, they make a bigger windup and they try to slow down.
The Only Way to hit a pitch shot is to make sure that the backswing is broken down into three parts. And this is what I mean. This is a small pitch shot. I take the golf club Back Where the shaft is parallel to the ground, but I have a nice followthrough that continues on after I make impact.
If I want the ball to go a little bit further, then my next length swing is where the shaft is pointing into the ground, and this goes a little bit further, but it’s the same followthrough.
And lastly, if I have a pitch shot and I want it to go All the way to the back of the green, I make a Full swing with the arms, not with the body, with the same followthrough.
Now, let me start with the next part. The direction that you swing the golf club is very important.
So, after you get your setup, the arms swing the golf club just slightly up and down on an arc. The arc has a little curve inside, not inside to your right foot and not away From your body in the backswing. The weight stays left and the arms swing up and down.
Thanks, and have a great day.Bobby Eldridge is the Head Instructor for the PurePoint Golf Academy where he teaches “The Simple Golf Swing” theory. You can check out PurePoint Golf instructional DVDs athttp://www.golfswingguru.com/index15.htm

Physical Treatments for Acne
With mild cases of acne topical ointments are usually the best method of treatment. More severe cases may require more drastic measures. Some options include: antibiotics either orally or in ointments and physical treatments like chemical peels and drainage.
If your acne needs physical treatment you will need to See a dermatologist to perform them. Technically popping pimples yourself is a form of physical treatment but it is not an advised method of treatment. This can lead to spreading the acne causing bacteria and scarring. Having physical treatments provided in a clinical environment such as a dermatologist’s office will provide you with the best results.
Exfoliation
Exfoliation is the removal of the top layer of skin; this can be achieved either chemically or through abrasion. Chemical peels work by dissolving a microscopic layer of skin cells, which opens pores and removes the build up of dead skin cells. This is usually accomplished by using salicylic acid or glycolic acid. The same think can be accomplished through abrasion using an abrasive cloth or liquid scrubbing solution. Glycolic acid can be used every two to Six weeks for about six months. Salicylic acid is a much milder form of acid and is included in many over the counter face cleansers; these can be safely used on a daily basis.
Comedo Extraction
Blackheads and whiteheads (comedones) can be removed with specialized instruments at your dermatologist’s office. After the skin is numbed with an anesthetic Cream the Dr. will use a pen like instrument to open the top of the comedones to remove the dead skin cells and sebum. It is typical to treat the area with an antibacterial agent after this treatment. Remember you should not try this at home because it can lead to infection and increased scarring.
Drainage
Sometimes in cases of sever acne cysts will form under the skin. Cysts can be very painful and cause severe scarring even permanent disfigurement. Some mild cysts can be treated with cortisone injections, which should clear up the cyst in a few days. More severe cysts will need to be drained and surgically removed. Draining the cyst will greatly reduce the pain and the chance of scarring. You should never try to drain a cyst at home, there is a very high risk of infection and scarring if not performed with the proper sterile instruments.
Light Therapy
This is used to combat the acne causing bacteria, it is especially useful in Hard to reach places. However this may only provide shot term relief because it does nothing to combat the excessive sebum and build up of dead skin cells.
Laser treatment can often be beneficial in the treatment of acne scars. This is capable of helping with lighter surface scars as Well as deeper tissue scars caused by severe cases of acne. Currently there is research being performed on using lasers to treat the Actual acne as well. There are several different procedures being tested. Using the laser to burn away the follicle sac that produces the hair, burning away the gland that produces the sebum and causing the formation of oxygen with in the bacteria to Kill them. These procedures are all still under testing and it is not known yet if the laser will cause any long-term damage to the skin.

Making Your Own Etched Shot Glasses by Amin Ramjee
Etching glass is a gorgeous and simple technique that uses certain chemicals or sand abrasions to roughen a piece of glass and make it appear frosted and opaque. Believe it or not, this technique can be done on your own and you can use it to transform plain shot glasses into a beautiful and Personal etched shot glasses for birthday or wedding favors. Though etching glass is pretty simple, proper care and safety is still needed and you must follow the instructions carefully. Two common ways of etching glass is by sand abrasion and chemical etching. Sand abrasion uses special equipment to Fire small particles of sand at a piece of glass to chip away at the surface–most people consider this way to be the real etching procedure as this technique allows for shading and sculpting of the glass piece. Chemical etching, on the other hand, relies on Store-bought creams to eat away at the surface of the glass, producing a uniformly frosted Appearance where applied. The latter technique is far simpler, cheaper and more readily available for the home crafter.
For creating etched shot glasses, first you need to get a supply of sturdy shot glasses. Get more Than you need in order to be able to practice and refine your techniques first. You will also need etching chemicals which you can purchase from your local craft store. These chemicals depend on how many glasses you want to make, and it is Better to get a more expensive but reusable product rather than a cheaper, single-use brand. Etching kits are also available that include stencils for lettering and designs. Kits also come with protective gear such as rubber gloves and eye wear and the relevant tools so if you don’t get a Kit, get these gears separately. Also, practice safety at all times even if you are a professional in this area.
When you are ready to etch your shot glasses, fix the stencils to the glass firmly and at the place you want them on. Make your own shapes or be creative: self-adhesive holes reinforcements make good polka dots and other children’s Shape stickers can be used for their silhouettes. The area that is Covered will remain the clear part whereas the ones that aren’t covered are the parts that will be etched so plan your designs properly.
Next, put on your protective eye wear and gloves as it can protect you from the etching chemicals that are very toxic. Follow the directions on the package and make sure to apply an even layer of the chemical to avoid a streaky or uneven Final product. Leave the chemical on the glass for the required period of time and for this, it is best to Set the timer. After the time is up, it’s time to rinse. When rinsing, make sure to remove the entire chemicals from the glass and your gloves before drying the glass and removing the stencil. If you are a beginner at etching, start your etched shot glasses craft with Large shapes and designs because it is usually easier than words or intricate and delicate designs.

Employ the Golf Pre-Shot Routine to Set You Up for Success
Those few seconds from when you tee up the golf ball, or come up to the golf ball on the fairway, and in fact hit it will probably determine how successful the golf shot will be. Will that be a period when those mental demons creep in, making you lose focus? By utilizing your pre-shot routine that is tailored to you, there’ll simply be time to concentrate on what you have to do. So why will every superior golfer have an efficient pre-shot routine as part of His Golf Swing Basics? Because it works!
Essentially, your pre-shot routine is a series of checkpoints, thoughts, actions, and a focus to details before hitting a golf shot. It should be unique to every golfer, and it is best if it fits the golfer’s personality. In other words, if a golfer throughout his every day schedule moves through Life in warp-speed, he wouldn’t use a unhurried, methodical routine. Likewise, if you are a more unhurried person, that slower schedule may fit you more effectively.
So what may your pre-shot routine appear to be? Since I can simply stress its importance and what components go into it, I can’t state what’s best for you. Therefore I will describe what I employ before every golf shot, and maybe you can draw a few ideas.
1. Before I select a golf club, I stand behind the golf ball and create in my Mind the golf shot. This does not mean only distance. I think about wind direction and intensity, how the golf ball is carrying that day, how I’ve been striking the golf ball, and I allow a margin for Error away from problem places.
2. Choose a golf club. Even if I had previously pre-decided my golf club before visualizing my golf shot, I at all times carry one or two, and sometimes three, extra golf clubs with me. Should I change my mind after deciding the proper golf shot, trying to strike that golf shot using a golf club I am uncomfortable with will Almost definitely wind up poorly. That’s the main explanation why I always opt to walk the course whenever doable; all your options are always there with you.
3. Choose your Target area. I accomplish this from behind the golf ball, and then I line up a point roughly five feet on line and in front of the golf ball. That’s where I will establish my stance and my clubface toward. I’ve established in the course of practice that this gives me a greater reliable set-up to my target area.
4. Before I set my feet, I locate the golf club on the exact location I would like it to hit the golf ball. I know that if something mechanical becomes wrong with my swing, a great deal can be corrected with a proper golf ball strike. Then I set my left foot to the golf ball, after that my back foot.
5. Then after one Last glance toward the target area, to trigger the swing (I do believe this is very important) I to some extent press the hands forward before drawing the golf club into the backswing. This “trigger” gives a uniform starting point to Begin the swing.
As I said earlier, your pre-shot routine is individual, so you must figure out what fits best for you. But it should be part of every player’s Simple Golf Swing, and to Play your most reliable golf, you must deal with this essential feature of the game.
